OVERVIEW

This demonstration version of HyperTox 2006 on the Web only contains monographs on Paracetamol (Acetaminophen), Carbamazepine, and Theophylline and Tricyclic antidepressants with some limited supporting information. The PDA version is available for $US24.95 from PalmGear, Handango, Share-It and pDassi. The Windows version is available from Share-It.

HyperTox is designed to provide concise practical information for the treatment of common and serious poisonings.

Where possible the recommendations are based on the best evidence available. Where such evidence is lacking management is based on the editors' clinical practice.

HyperTox is not designed to replace careful clinical assessment or appropriate consultation.
